NFT for a cause

Turtles are dying around the world due to illegal hunting, plastic pollution, climate change, and more. Healthy oceans need turtles because they are keystone species which means they are an important part of their environment. If a keystone species is removed from a habitat, the natural order can be disrupted, which impacts other wildlife and fauna in different ways.

With the help of Terrible Turtles, you can play a big role in helping the endangered turtles. We will be donating 25% from each turtle sold to Save The Turtles and Team Seas. We want to take this opportunity to make a greater change in the world and you can be a part of this mission while getting rewarded for it.

Save The Turtles by See Turtles Organization

The See Turtles Organization is pledging to save at least 10 endangered turtles hatchlings on every $1 donation, your money will also go to save baby sea turtles at important nesting beaches, protect hawksbills from the turtle shell trade & get plastic out of turtle habitat.

Team Seas created by YouTube stars Mr. Beast and Mark Rober pledges to take one less pound of trash in the ocean on every $1 donation. In a recent study, more than 1,000 turtles die from pollution per year, and of course, pollution does not only affect the lives of turtles but also other marine life. Its been proven that over 1 million marine animals are killed each year due to pollution. All together, we can take that number to 0.

Non-profit Decentralized Organization

The mission does not stop there. Once this project continues to progress we are planning to launch a non-profit decentralized organization, and it won't only help the turtles. This DAO will focus on helping to solve problems happening all around the globe.

Terrible Turtles owners will play a big part in this movement. Owners can take part in critical decisions of the organization by having voting rights. An example is putting on a vote on where the money should be donated, or creating a donation portfolio wherein Owners can decide what organizations to donate to.

Owning a Terrible Turtle officially grants you membership to the Terrible Turtles Non-Profit DAO. Members will play a big role in this movement. Decisions will be made through a poll voted by members. Your vote, suggestions, and remarks will matter.

ACCESS TO THE SHELL

The Shell is a special place in TerraPortus, exclusive to Terrible Turtles members only. Think of it as a VIP clubhouse or lounge. You can collaborate, share and connect with others in this special club!

The Shell Daily Task is accessible here. Once the tasks are completed, a mystery box will be given to you. The box contains, random cool benefits and rewards, like free NFTs, powerups, or even our governance token. The longer you log in The Shell, the higher box tier you can open.

FREE TERRAPORTUS LAND

Owners of Regular Terrible Turtles will be able to claim 1 free regular land within a certain time frame only.

Owners of The Prime 25 Terrible Turtles will be able to claim 1 free TerraPortus Premium Land, no time frame necessary.

TURTLE CODE

Terrible Turtles owners will be given a unique code for discounts in TerraPortus platform fees. If the code is used the owner will receive the percentage cut.

For Example: for transactions that involve the Turtle code, the Community Treasury will receive example the 5% marketplace fee, and the 2% will be shared with the Terrible Turtle owner. If the transaction doesn't involve the Turtle Code, the Community Treasury will receive the full 7% marketplace fee.
